Mesa has a new hotspot for family fun, social gatherings, and sports entertainment. Taroko Sports has officially opened its doors at Mesa Riverview, introducing a dynamic 18,000-sq.-ft. complex that blends baseball, arcade favorites, and innovative social experiences. Designed to reinvent how people interact with the game of baseball, Taroko Sports also offers a wide range of games and activities that make it a destination for all ages.
Originating from Taiwan, Taroko USA is a subsidiary of TRK Corporation, the largest entertainment group in its home country. Known for pushing boundaries in sports and leisure, the brand made its U.S. debut in Katy, Texas, before expanding to Arizona with this new Mesa location.
At the heart of Taroko Sports Mesa is its next-generation batting cage experience. Far from the traditional batting practice setup, these cages use cutting-edge technology to provide real-time feedback and gamified scoring, making it both fun and educational for seasoned athletes and beginners alike.
“Our goal is to make baseball fun and accessible—not just for athletes, but for everyone,” says Gordon Hsieh, founder and CEO of TRK Corporation. “Taroko Sports is about creating a space where families, friends, and coworkers can come together to play, compete, and connect.”

When it’s time to recharge, guests can head to the food and beverage area, where pizza, wings, fries, and snacks are served daily. Plans are underway to add a bar with bottled beer and wine, enhancing the venue’s appeal for adult social outings. With over 100 seats and 12 large-screen TVs—eight streaming live sports—it’s also an ideal spot to watch the game while enjoying a meal.
Taroko Sports Mesa is open late every day, operating Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to midnight, and weekends from 10 a.m. to midnight. A second Arizona location in Chandler is already planned, solidifying Taroko’s growing presence in the Valley.
